Meet the team

Darren is the main man behind HEC Logistics. He heads up our dedicated side of the business, supporting the rest of the team and making sure planned work runs smoothly and to the highest standard. Away from the depot, he's all about fishing, shooting, and Fish Shop Fridays.

Paul is our unofficial head of IT, an invoicing assistant, and the man with a hand in every part of the business. He's been with HEC for almost 30 years. Outside of work, he's into fitness and chasing the thrill of the next theme park ride.

Laura has spent the past 21 years helping run the busy operations on our same-day side, where no two days are ever the same. She enjoys the challenge of the transport industry and takes pride in keeping things moving smoothly. Away from work, she's passionate about travel, outdoor life, and discovering new cultures.

Sam is the mathematician of the team, always on hand to answer your accounts queries. She's been with us for almost 9 years, and when she isn't working on invoices, she's exploring the great outdoors — or Disneyland Paris.

Megan works in our same-day department as Operations Coordinator, heading up our same-day drivers, keeping collections and deliveries running smoothly, and looking after invoicing. She's been with the team for almost 8 years, loves a holiday and her dog Hugo, and can't be trusted not to spill her morning cup of tea.

Rebecca heads up our driver and customer service team, making sure every delivery and customer query is handled to the highest standard. She's also building new business and keeping our current customers happy with their service and pricing. Rebecca's been with the team for almost 4 years — a morning brew and a Red Bull are non-negotiable.

Chris heads up our morning delivery team, making sure everything's out the door and every driver knows their route. He's been with us for almost 8 years. Outside of work, he loves spending time with his family — and keeping the office on its toes.

Justin heads up our afternoon driving team, keeping deliveries and collections fast and accurate. He's been with us for almost 6 years and is always chasing the next outdoor adventure in his spare time.

Jess is always on hand to answer your calls and emails, making sure customer service stays top-notch. She's been with the team for almost 3 years, can't get through the day without a Red Bull, and is the office's resident prankster.

Claire is on top of customer enquiries and always ready to help, in and out of the office. She's been with the team for just over 3 years, loves a morning coffee, and never misses a weekend away in her van.

Hugo makes it his priority to ensure lunchtime quality control is taken extremely seriously. He also heads up our security team, making sure everyone gets a bark at least once on arrival at the office — limiting our risk of theft and kidnap. Hugo loves his weekends away with his mum, and playing with his toys.
